No Benzoyl Peroxide

Benzoyl Peroxide is the most widely used acne fighting ingredient. It can be extremely harsh and irritating to the skin and may be the cause of the excessive redness and irritation some people experience when using acne products. Peroxide is an oxidizing agent which can damage the skin through the formation of free radicals. Free radical creation is to be avoided whenever possible as it damages healthy cells.
