Active Ingredient Salicylic Acid

Salicylic Acid is a very effective, FDA approved, acne treatment ingredient. It helps remove the debris that clogs pores and penetrates the pore itself to help clean the pore and destroy the P.acnes bacteria. The P.acnes bacteria is anaerobic which means that it can only survive in an environment without air. Salicylic Acid helps air flow into the pore, thus destroying the P.acnes bacteria.
